Jabil Acquires EMS Provider Celetronix

Jabil recently announced it has come to an agreement with Celetronix to acquire the Indian EMS provider for a price of US$155 million, while Jabil will also take over US$30 million in debt. Celetronix currently employs 5,750 people and in India it has 270,000 square feet of production facilities in Mumbai, Chennai, and Pondicherry. Jabil stated that the deal will be completed in March 2006.
